Pellak Construction is a family-owned and operated Design-Build firm that specializes in custom home renovations. With a design studio located in Springfield, PA and clients throughout the Main line, Delaware and Chester County area, we are passionate about creating functional and beautiful living spaces for families who value innovative design and craftsmanship. We are committed to creating and fostering an inspiring and supportive environment where relationships with our team members, business partners, and clients are held in the highest regard.

Job Responsibilities:

· Create 3D model based on survey findings.

· Develop and draw price-scaled layouts to meet the clients’ goals.

· Present layouts and elaborate on details with clients during design meetings.

· Assist and guide clients through the selections process – appliances, flooring, tile, fixtures, cabinetry, countertops, lighting, trim, windows, doors, paint and stain with respect to material allowances.

· Prepare customer sign-off of the above selections with detailed drawings, elevations, and renderings, as well as detailed specification sheets and descriptions.

· Create detailed production packets and Design Guides for the production team in the field.

· Once the design is finalized, order materials, check acknowledgments and go over the schedule with the Project Managers.

· Be responsible for tracking and managing customer expectations of job costs/overages.

· Collaborate with multiple team members throughout the project development.

· Participate in design review meetings with clients.

· Engage in pre-contract brainstorming, initial project lift-off, and after-project review meetings.

· Follow standard operating procedures to complete assigned tasks.

· Meet required task deadlines.

· Track project progress.

· Work with vendors to manage process and deliveries.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in the kitchen and bath or residential design build.

· Thorough understanding of the remodeling/construction process and familiarity with building codes.

· Possess an Interior-based design education.

· High level of experience with direct cabinetry ordering and ensuring proper orders from the department.

· Proficiency with Chief Architect, 2020 Design Live, AUTOCAD, and Microsoft Office.

· Experience with client selections and finishes and ability to curate samples and present to clients.

· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

· Knowledge of Monday.com and JobTread a plus.

Pay: Compensation is based on relevant experience and qualifications. Salary for this role is estimated between $64,000 and $75,000 plus benefits.
